- For amarnath,delhi-srinagar-baltal-amarnath is the shortest route. from baltal u can walk or take a helocopter. the temple opens for only 2 months in june-july
- For badrinath,delhi-haridwar-rishikesh( by train/road)-dev prayag-rudra prayag-joshimath-badrinath(by road only

Amarnath Yatra is an event that is carried out every year in the months of July and August. This is a divine place for pilgrimage for all the followers of Lord Shiva throughout the world.
