Every year many people come to Amarnath to obeisance before Ice-Lingam of Lord Shiva. It is because of spiritual significance of this place that lots of hindus from world over come to this place.
It is believed that Lord Shiva chose Amarnath Cave place for recounting the secret of creation and immorality of universe to Parvati. Lord Shiva told her the story of why and when he started wearing the beads of heads. When Parvati asked him about the immorality; he said it is due to Amar katha.
